Crazy Day
Today was another crazy day for the McCarthy household! This morning, Shane and I took Chase to Cafe du Monde for his first taste of beignets. I think it was a success :-)
Later this morning we took Chase to a birthday party at the Mandeville Sports Complex. He had so much fun climbing over everything and playing with all the fun toys.
Then this afternoon I went to a surprise baby shower for Carrie. It was a beautiful shower and I think she was honestly surprised!
Crazy day but lots of fun!

Trip to the Zoo
Shane's mom, Maw Maw, sent me some pictures she took of Chase and his first trip to the zoo. Thanks Maw Maw!!!

Girl's Weekend!
This weekend I went to Destin to celebrate Melissa's bachelorette party. We had an amazing time! The weather was beautiful and the water felt great. Jes' parents have a beautiful condo on the beach and were gracious enough to let us stay there once again...Thanks so much!!
Chase and Daddy had a boys weekend at home. Shane and his parents took Chase to the zoo for the first time. He said Chase seemed to like it, but was most impressed with the fountain :-)

Disco King!
I ordered Chase's Halloween costume last night. When Shane and I came across it on the internet, we both started laughing hysterically! I can't wait to put it on him! And, YES, the afro comes with it! :-)

Weekend
Chase had a really bad sinus infection last week. He had all sorts of stuff draining from his eyes. The doctor said his sinus infection was so bad that it backed up his tear ducts. Poor Baby looked like he had 2 black eyes.
Saturday we went over to the Bourgs' house for pizza, dessert and a LOT of football games! Yesterday we took Chase to breakfast after church and then went to Baton Rouge for Hayden's first birthday party. (Sorry, I forgot my camera for both events).
Last night the girls in our neighborhood must have played with Chase for hours!!! He loved every minute of it. I think I am going to adopt a 7 year old girl just to have constant entertainment for Chase :-) They must have tired him out because he slept until 7:00 this morning...which is a rare thing around here!

Labor Day Weekend
We had a very nice Labor Day weekend. Chase and I really enjoyed Shane being home for 3 days in a row!
Saturday night we had the Cooks over for some BBQ and card games. Sunday we went over to my parents house to celebrate a few family birthdays with a delicous meal my mom made! It was so funny to watch Chase and Rylie communicate...they were talking to each other but none of us understood a word they were saying! Today we went over for a BBQ at the Foster's house. At the end of the day, all of the kiddos stripped off their clothes and splashed around in the baby pools. What a GREAT weekend!
