Perilloux Crawfish Boil
Today we had another delicious crawfish boil at my parents' house. My sister, Jamie and her 3 kids (Mason, Jacob & Callie) are in town for the week (Chad will join us later in the week). We had a really nice day relaxing outside and enjoying the beautiful weather. Plus, it's always fun when all the sisters can get together!
St. Patty's Parade
Yesterday Shane, Pops and Uncle Sean marched in the Irish Channel St. Patty's parade. Maw Maw and I took Chase out there to see them and we met Jamie, Taylor, Nikki, Amelia, Abigail, Miss Lori, Erica and Reese. Chase was the only boy!
The weather was warm which made Chase a little fussy, but he perked up once he saw the floats and immediately remembered how to wave his hands in the air from Mardi Gras!
Taylor kept giving Chase the sweetest kisses...it was so funny!

Cootie Bug
Sorry we've been out of it lately, but the cootie bug has taken over once again. Poor Chase is suffering with his allergies/asthma. We put him on round the clock breathing treatments starting on Monday and took him back to the doctor for a check up today. His breathing has gotten worse and he is not responding to the treatments as we hoped, so the doctor has also added 2 oral steriods (and lets not forget the zyrtec, singuliar, and mucinex). My poor sweat pea is so over medicated, I sure hope these oral steriods do the trick!
As for the rest of us, well I somehow got pink eye and some type of respitory infection and now Shane says he feels achey too. I sure hope the Cootie Bug decides to leave our house soon...goodness knows we've had enough!
In the meantime, we're really looking forward to the summer! Hopefully nothing but good news to report this weekend...
Check out the big boy's molars!

Car Problems
Okay, Chase really does not enjoy being in the car. We've been struggling with this problem for a while, but it's starting to get out of control. I tell everybody it's like a scene from The Exorcist...Chase starts screaming, pulling at his seat belt, kicking his feet, shaking his head and usually gets himself so worked up that he ends up vomitting all over himself and the car.
I've tried everything I can think of....music, singing, rolling down the windows, juice, snacks, his blankie, sitting in the back seat next to him, taking off his clothes so he doesn't feel so restricted, we even bought a portable DVD player today and played Mickey Mouse Clubhouse for him on the way to and from Taylor's birthday party today.
NOTHING IS WORKING! The ride home from Biloxi today was miserable for all three of us. Nothing we could do would calm Chase down. It's not like we can keep him out of the car....so does anyone have any other suggestions??

Birthday Mania!
Today we celebrated quite a few birthdays! Happy birthday to Paw Paw, Sissy, Callie, Evan, Luke and Taylor!
We started the day by celebrating Luke's 2nd birthday at Toddlearn. This is where Chase and I have our Mommy and Me class, and Chase just loves it there. He had a blast.
Then we went to a crawfish boil at my parents' house to celebrate Paw Paw and Sissy's birthday. We had a ton of delicious food! Paw Paw and Callie have the same birthday, but we will celebrate with Callie, Mason and Jacob (their birthday is on March 22nd) when they come in town for Easter.
Tomorrow we are celebrating Taylor's 2nd birthday at her house in Biloxi.
Evan's birthday is March 5th, and we will be celebrating with him in spirit since he is in Dallas.
Happy Birthday to all of you! Phew...that is a LOT of cake! :-)
