Happy Halloween!

Chase has really been into Spiderman ever since we evacuated for Gustav with the Bourg's (Connor had a Spiderman toy that started it all....)

So this year for Halloween, Chase went as Spiderman and he was really into it. What a difference a year makes. Last Halloween, Chase wasn't really into it, but this year, he loved every bit of "Trick or Treating"! He was so much fun to take around the subdivision and the only reason why we came back by 8:00 tonight is because Mama's back was hurting and she was ready to call it a night.

As for his costume, I didn't even try it on until tonight b/c I just knew it was going to be too big, after all it was a size 4T. I had planned to keep Chase in a long sleeve shirt and pants under his costume, but I couldn't get the darn thing over his shoulders, it was too tight! Opps! So he went with just his diaper underneath and we barely got his Spider Suit on. I guess we know better for next year :-)

The last picture is of Chase taking his nap today. He has tried skipping his nap on me everyday this week. He normally goes down so easily but I haven't been able to get him to take a nap at all this week. But today I was determined, so I ended up rocking him to sleep and I didn't want to take the chance of moving him. Let's hope that this is the end of his "No Napping" phase!

Happy and safe Halloween!

Imagination Mover's Dance

Chase loves Disney's Imagination Mover's. He even has all his dance moves down for each song. My favorite is when he does his little shake during the "Get Down" part of the chorus!

Pumpkin Festival at Red Bluff Farm

Yesterday we took Chase to the pumpkin festival in Folsom at Red Bluff Farm. They had so many great activities for the kids: cow milking, sheep shearing, pig roast, fishing, hay rides, corn maze, corn shucking, homemade breads, cookies, jellies, etc... Plus we were able to walk around the farm and see all of the animals.

When we walked up to the farm and Chase saw the big cow, he gasped, pointed to the cow and said, "Oh my goodness"! Shane and I were cracking up laughing, we've never heard him say that before.

It was a really fun morning and look forward to continuing this tradition.

Chase's Favorite Toys

I'm not sure if this is normal or not for a two year old, but Chase's two favorite toys are an empty coffee cup with the lid and a calculator. It cracks me up! I guess he's a product of his parents. He seems Mommy with the coffee and Daddy with the calculator. You can't pry either of those items away from him. He even naps with them in his crib! Hilarious!

P.S. If you tell Chase we're going to go get coffee, he replies with "YEAH!!! I so happy"!

P.S.S. Check out that belly :-)

Gandy Fundraiser

Last night was the fundraiser for my sister and brother-in-law. It was a HUGE success and the evening turned out so much better than I could have ever expected. So many people pulled together to pull this evening off, and it went without a hitch. I'm pretty sure everyone had a great time and Julie and Tory are so grateful for everyone's support. I only had limited opportunities to break out my camera for pictures, so I'm sure there will be more to come once I see everyone else's pics.

Oh, and by the way, Tory walked all night long with limited use of his cane. He didn't even bring his wheel chair! His progress has been amazing!

Saints Win and Pumpkins Galore!

Yesterday while Shane and I attended a GREAT Saints home game, Chase had a blast at the pumpkin patch with Maw Maw and Pops. They said he ran to the pumpkins and enjoyed throwing the smaller ones into a box. The three of them came home with EIGHT pumpkins! Chase was very excited to decorate our house with his 4 Chase-sized pumpkins :-)

A Day worth Celebrating!

Yesteray was Shane and I's 4 year wedding anniversary. To celebrate we went to dinner at Sal and Judy's. October 9th is also our friend, Christy Bourg's birthday. They were also celebrating at Sal & Judy's. The four of us had a delicous meal and in the middle of eating my entree, I felt the baby move for the first time. It was so awesome. I only felt it twice, but it was amazing!

It was a great evening!

Doctor's Appt

I had another doctor's appointment this afternoon to check on our little peanut. The heart rate was about 140 and everything else looks good. Dr. Lobello says she sees me with two boys...I guess we'll see!

We go back in 4 weeks for our big ultrasound and another check up. Until then...
