HELP!!!

Okay, I am asking for some advice from you other moms and dads. Chase seems to have a new habit. About 3 times a week, he makes number 2 in the tub. You can imagine what kind of texture that takes while soaking in the tub while I hurry to get Chase out and dried off. My gag reflux (and bottle of Lysol) is begging for suggestions...any advice????

We had that issue with Kendal. I bought a potty seat for the bathroom. I knew if she had not pooped that day that it would come that night in the tub. So I would watch her carefully those nights and then pull her out and put her on the potty seat. We were definetly not perfect but it minimized the poop in the tub! Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I have no suggestions either. Gavin never did that and I do NOT think that I would do well cleaning that either. Make Shane do it!

I was going to say ask Shannon, but it looks like she already responded. We've only had that happen 2 times...now it would totally groose mine out, so I don't have much advice for you on this one...SORRY!

We've only had that happen once with Libby... but I'd try the potty chair idea. Is he starting to show signs of a poopy coming on? That concentrating look or getting up into a squatting position... if so the potty may work and it may help with potty training later on???

Is he going regularly? Or getting constipated? Many times when they are constipated, a warm bath helps them to go... eases the discomfort, helps them to relax that sphincter. Watch and see if constipation is the issue. Maybe a sippy of juice or increasing the amount of fiber rich foods he eats may help???

Ad couldn't handle the clean up either...I'm stuck doing most of that. icky!
good luck!

Chase shows absolutely no signs that he is about to poop. He makes no sound and doesn't "assume the position". I have no idea he did it until I see it floating (sorry for the gross description).

And he is pretty regular. He goes 2-3 times every day, so I know it's not constipation either.

Oh, I sure hope this is just a short lived phase!

"He's just going through a phase."
