Family Day

Since the arrival of Ethan, we spend a lot more time at home and therefore have a lot more family time. This morning we went for a family walk and Chase refused to get in his wagon because he HAD to push "Baby Ethan" in his stroller. Our short walk down the street and back took well over half an hour :-)

Chase has just amazed me with his love for Ethan. Typically Chase is not an affectionate child, but he cannot stop loving all over Ethan. He constantly wants to kiss him, hold him and his favorite...rub his head. It is so adorable to watch them interact.

As for our sleeping habits.... well Chase has gotten a little better. The past couple of nights we've gotten him to fall asleep in his room to the tv and he will sleep through the night. Hopefully he will continue to do so, but I'm not sure we'll ever be able to get him to fall asleep without the tv now. As for his naps, well that's a different story. We're not having much luck. Chase continues to tell us, "I'm scared" which is what he says so he can get out of it. He ends up screaming in his room until we let him out.

Ethan is on a pretty good three hour schedule and sometimes at night he will go 4 hours. It's not too bad when the both of us are home, but Friday night I was on my own (Shane was out of town) and Ethan had a rough night which led to me only getting 2 hours of sleep. Needless to say, yesterday was a bit difficult for me, but today is a new day...

So cute! I'm glad Chase is doing a little better for you. I don't know if it's the major life change or being 2 1/2 but Libby had sleep issues that popped up at that age. She became afraid of the dark. Ended up having to get nightlights and leave her door open (which there was a lot of redirecting with that). She has her favorite puppies and so the threat of them needing to sleep in another room b/c she wasn't letting them sleep, would settle her down best. Good luck
you look great, btw.
